CHEN YIYANG

Chen Yiyang was born in 2010 in Hong Kong, China. She started learning the violin at the age of four and has won numerous awards in violin competitions. She is the first-prize winner of the 2019 9th Hong Kong International Violin Competition and the 2020 6th Hong Kong International Music Festival Violin Final.

In 2024, Chen Yiyang won third place in the “2024 Khachaturian International Youth Competition,” and her performances were recorded by Amadeus.tv, MusicToday.CN, and others.

Chen Yiyang has studied under the guidance of Russian violinist Marianna Terteryan since her childhood and has received instruction from Professor Ding Xiaolei at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music. She has been educated by many renowned musicians from around the world, including Igor Petrushevski, Lorenz Nasturica-Herschcowici, Fatkulin Sergey, Hukun, and so on .

Chen Yiyang has performed at many famous concert halls, including the China National Opera House(Central Opera House in Beijing), Shenzhen Concert Hall, Opera House at Central Conservatory of Music, Opera House at Shanghai Conservatory of Music, He Luting Concert Hall, Beijing Shijingshan Art Center. Her performance of Mozart's Violin Concerto No. 3 in G Major with the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra was widely acclaimed.
